The Primary-Lingual methodology ...

Promotes 'in school' language classes which through our award wining resources, and a variety of our original music, games and interactive activities, we start to develop your child's reading, writing, speaking and listening abilities in French. Baguette the bilingual Bear is of course always part of our classes!


 Focussed, educational fun... is how we get your child to become a Primary-lingual. 


The Primary -lingual programme supports and enhances the school curriculum regarding foreign languages. If children have attended our FUN-lingual™ classes, they will continue to enjoy their progressive learning with us at Primary school too.

As children start to discover the wonderful world of literacy, we also start in Primary-lingual sessions to prepare children to read and write in another foreign language.


This will be supported by our programme worksheets which they will bring home to you at the end of term in their Primary-lingual folder or in our course work books. We have found that this

gives children a unique advantage in their language, learning education by giving 

them a vital head start that can ultimately give them a wonderful advantage when

they eventually start secondary school.

The Primary-linguals programme combines a carefully balanced mix of relevant and necessary linguistic content as well as a blend of both English, French and other world cultures to include in our lessons. Through the use of music, art and literature

we continue to build your child's understanding and use of another language, this helps consolidate the learning process and gives children the opportunity to keep learning and expressing themselves in a very unique way. We take great pride in working with children, schools and parents and continue to develop our programmes as a result of that as we know that ultimately we are leading your child into learning a language for life. The majority of our Primary - lingual pupils are already on key stage three French by the time they leave us for secondary school.
